Ren Salig completed her Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science in May, 2024 (dissertation title: How bilinguals’ comprehension of code-switches influences attention and memory). She is originally from Downingtown, Pennsylvania, received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Spanish from Elon University in 2017, and spent a year after graduation in Neuquén, Argentina teaching English on a Fulbright grant. She did postdoctoral work at the University of Michigan and will start an assistant professor position at The College of New Jersey in Fall, 2026.
